Disclaimer
rea-reverse is an independent tutorial site about REA, the open-source project by morluto. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the REA project, and REA’s own DISCLAIMER.md applies to every use of REA described here.
Authorized use only
The guides are written for lawful work: security research, malware and incident analysis, CTFs and education, interoperability, software preservation, and debugging or auditing software you own or are authorized to examine. Examples on this site use open-source programs, programs you compile yourself, CTF challenges, or targets from the REA showcase.
Before you analyze a program, device, website or network of your own choosing, make sure you have the right to do so. Reverse engineering may be restricted by law in your jurisdiction, by a software licence, or by a service’s terms. You are responsible for obtaining any required authorization and for what you, or an AI agent acting on your instructions, do with REA.
The guides do not cover, and must not be used for, circumventing DRM, licence checks, anti-cheat systems or other protection measures, bypassing authentication or access controls, or copying proprietary code.
No warranty
The content is provided as is, for information only. Commands are checked against the REA documentation for the version stated on each guide, but tools change and mistakes happen. Run commands in an environment you can afford to break, and check the REA documentation for the current behavior.
